Weekend Recap: Wine & Wedding Memories

Classy with a Kick: Weekend Recap

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a fun (and safe) Cinco De Mayo! This was one of the first years we did not celebrate but we were so tired by the time Sunday rolled around, we skipped out. I did have my fair share of margaritas on Saturday if that counts!

Friday day was gorgeous out so it was definitely shorts weather - even at night. I got a well needed pedicure - I brought in my Island Girl nail polish from Hawaii - and then we had a fantastic sunset happy hour on our porch. Next we went to a local pizza place/bar that we go to all of the time, Pizza Port. We weren't ready to call it a night after dinner so we hit up one of my favorite wine bars on our way home, Wine Steals. It's funny...the last place we lived, there was a Wine Steals in the bottom of the building and now it's only a few blocks away. Totally not planned...but I'll take it!

Saturday we ran around running errands and then headed out to Del Mar for some dinner and drinks at the place we got married, L'Auberge Del Mar. The hotel is not only beautiful but a really fun place to get drinks and hang out. We had drinks by the fireplace and then roamed around the hotel remembering the best day of our lives. It was perfect!

Sunday was spent recovering from the food/drinks. We had what we like to call the Encinitas Special breakfast - Coffee from Pannikin and an Acai Bowl from Sambazon - both local favorites!

We tapped off the day off with a bbq at home while watching all the episodes of RHOOC that I missed while I was out.  Those ladies are C-R-A-Z-Y town, damn!

How was your weekend? What did you do??

**Linking up with Sami today - check out what everyone else did this weekend!

  3. What a fun weekend! We didn't celebrate cinco de mayo either - too worn out from derby festivities on saturday. So cute that yall visited the place where you got married - I'd love to do that more often but that would involve a trip across the country!

  7. Sounds like a great weekend! Relaxing and fun. I can't remember what I did this weekend already. I guess it was not that good. Or maybe I'm just old and forgetful.
