Hey all!
I want to first thank you all for the sweet comments/emails from my "Me from A to Z" post on Friday. I always hesitate posting things about me although I love reading about other people. So thank you all for the support. I loved hearing all of our similarities and I promise to expand more on the Playboy Mansion and other LA escapades (including ending up at Leonardo DiCaprio's house). They are pretty entertaining so I will for sure share them another time. :)
Our weekend consisted of lots of family and friends which is always nice. Even though we don't celebrate Easter, I was in the Easter spirit on Saturday night and went all pastel-y; wearing mint, white and pink sparkly shoes. We went to local pizza place in our neighborhood and kept it pretty casual. The best part about this particular restaurant, oh, you get Fortune Cookies for dessert. I forgot what ours was, but we both got the same fortune. I love fortunes, except when I get one like this a couple days before my surgery last year.
Needless to say I was FREAKED out that they were going to do some experimental test on me while I was under! They didn't...everything was fine.
So on Saturday, we bought our little baby Kona a brand new Princess bed since she literally ate her old one. We were so proud of her for not eating it for the first few hours and thought we finally bought her something she liked. But of course, we spoke to soon and came home from dinner to this...
It's just a start but I give this one a 2-3 weeks tops :)
On Sunday, we had breakfast outdoors at one of favorite local places and there was an acoustic guitar guy singing and playing. It was pretty fab...esp for breakfast! Then we spent the day running errands - do you guys also go to THREE different grocery stores in one day? Seriously, we did. After lugging grocery bags into our house (from three different stores), I spent the afternoon making and shipping all my backed up necklace orders.
If you want to order one yourself, check out my Etsy Shop!
We ended the weekend with a sunset BBQ and a much needed bubble bath. Ahhh...
How was your weekend? How did you spend Easter?

Haha is it something with girl dogs?? Mine has eaten all of her beds too! And I'm so behind, I have to go check out your A-Z!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny that the pizza place gives out fortune cookies! Oliver normally chews his beds too but I finally found one that he didn't destroy. I think it's because he loves it so much that he knows better than to ruin it!

Hi Jill!! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm so glad you found me because your fur babies are sooooo cute. :) Omg, our Kobi 'eats' his pillow bed too! :( We've literally gone through 4 beds with him and finally gave up and bought him a cot. haha.. yeah.. I don't think he cares for it so much but it will have to do in the meantime since he keeps coughing up stuffing. >.<
