Hey all...hope you had a great weekend! I don't know about you but every year this darn time change feels worse and worse. I am exhausted. I feel like I need another weekend to catch up on rest!

Friday was a crazy weather day...it was rainy, sunny, windy, rainy and sunny again. I seemed to have dressed the part because I was half grey and black and half bright colors.

I cleaned out my closet last week and I found a ton of things I had totally forgotten about. I feel like I had a huge shopping trip - but spent no money! It was fantastic! One of the things I uncovered were these silk track pants. I wasn't sure about them when I got them so they sort of fell to the back of the closet. On Friday I wasn't in the mood for the usual skinny jeans uniform so I decided to try them out. Let me tell you, I LOVED them. They are a bit tapered at the bottom but they were perfect with my platform booties!

The weather finally picked up on Saturday so we got to spend some time outdoors and did our famous beach walk. I then spent the rest of the day fulfilling lace necklace orders (new colors in the shop this week...stay tuned!) and doing my glittery Pinterest project that I will post on Thursday.

On Sunday we walked down to downtown Encinitas for lunch and stopped into one of the local surf shops. Thank goodness I left my purse at home - I wanted to get everything for our upcoming Hawaii trip. I did, however, convince my husband to buy me these cute little shoes.

Zebra Sanuks

I got a pair of Sanuks last year and to be honest, I didn't really wear them a lot. But these are cute with the neutral zebra stripes so I think I will get more use out of them. We'll just have to see!

Do you ever "shop" in your own closet?
