DIY - Sassy Water

My personal style is all about sass. Sass makes you unique and I think everyone should be their own person. If we were all the same, how boring would the world be??

Since we're talking abous sass...I saw this pin a while back and have been dying to try it.

I love all things cucumber - lotions, water, eye creams, etc. I also love all things ginger - pickled ginger, ginger ale, ginger tea. I also have a bit of an obsession with lemon and am 100% addicted to True Lemon (if you haven't tried it, GET IT NOW!).

With all that said, why have I not tried Sassy Water before? I basically have all the ingredients in my house at any given time!

For all of you that don't know what Sassy Water is, it's a ginger, lemon, cucumber & mint based water. It has cleansing properties, it's great for weight loss and just tastes amazing. And it's so simple to make...

Here's what you need:

1 teaspoon of Ginger // 1-2 Lemons // 5 cups of Water (filtered preferred)//
1/2 to 1 Cucumber // Mint ( I omitted this...not sure I love mint in my water yet).

That's it. Peel and grate the ginger, squeeze the lemons, slice some cukes and some water and there you have it...Sassy Water! You can use my measurements if you like but I like to eyeball it and add what I feel like. Basically if you want it more spicy, add more ginger. If you like it more sour, add lemon. You get it...

I am now on day three of drinking this and I swear it has given me more energy. Or maybe that's the sass talking. :)

What Pinterest ideas have you tried recently?

And most importantly...Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Wishing you all lots of love and happiness in the coming year! (Random fact for the day: If you use the word "happiness" on a cake from an erotic bakery, it is spelled much differently! The things we learn in college...)

  6. I haven't done this before BUT I'm currently obsessed with Mango Ginger Water! I've been drinking it by the gallon. For every 2 liters of water you need 3 quarter sized pieces of ginger and about 3/4 cup of frozen mango pieces!!!! I toss in a few frozen mangos when a pour a glass to keep it cold too. You can use the same fruit for 3 or 4 refills of water! Definitely try it

    Happy Valentine's Day!
