J Crew Factory Sequin Bow Sweater // Old Navy Tank // Pashmina Scarf - old (similar here) //
Hey everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend.
As I mentioned last week, I am out traveling this week but I will try my hardest to post as much as I can! As much as I would love to pre-write blog posts, I like to use my posts as a journal of sorts so everything I post is pretty much real time.
I am actually writing this as I am waiting for my 2 hour delayed flight - awesome!
Nothing too exciting in the outfit department today as I typically wear the same type of outfit on travel days. It usually consists of layers - which is key. Those damn airplanes are always cold - and when they're not, it usually means the air is not working and it gets crazy hot. Either way, I like to wear layers to accommodate the changing climate!
Usually I am wearing some kind of sweater or long sleeve top, a tank or tee underneath, leggings (or stretchy jeans), socks (VERY IMPORTANT - I hate walking barefoot in security) and boots. I actually don't love wearing boots to travel, but they are usually my biggest shoes and I need to save room in the suitcase!
I always have to have a wrap or scarf that can double as a blanket/pillow. I am so grossed out by airplane pillows and blankets - seriously - they are germ (and random hair magnets). Gross!
You can almost always catch me traveling with a Lululemon bag. I have about three that I use as carry-ons - when I am not using a roller bag. They are amazing. They are always really roomy with lots of compartments which is perfect for storing all of my travel essentials (gum, headphones, iPad, kindle, magazines, moisturizer, sea-bands, sunnies and granola bars).
I am a wimp when it comes to motion sickness so I always wear my sea-bands. They are not pretty but they're much prettier than my green face when I get motion sick! Trust me!
Sea Bands - Miracle Product!
What are your travel essentials? Do you have a go-to travel outfit?
That bow sweater is soo cute! Do those sea bands work well? I usually take Bonine before I get on the plane for motion sickness but it makes me awfully drowsy.

ReplyDeleteThanks Niki! Yes, you have to try them. It's one of those things that you know they are working until you take them off. Definitely amazing in cars/car rides. Just wear an over-sized watch and some cute bracelets and you can't see them!
